PADDY STRAW. Syed Mahabubul, Bangladesh.

A group of workers unload paddy straw from a small truck in Bangladesh. Rice straw is a by-product for farmers that is used for a variety of purposes including cattle feed and fuel.

I visited Yellowknife, Canada in the winter to see the Aurora. The trees covered in ice were beautiful, but unfortunately it was cloudy and snow started falling that night. It was disappointing, but I managed to take a photo of the falling snow. This photo was taken at Aurora Village.

I arrive in Baja, California, to witness the aggregation of the Mobula rays.
The rays seen is great number, and I was free-diving toward them. To my surprise, this other person showed up, and this created a moment in the relationship of human exploring the aquatic wildlife.

I went on holiday to Bulgaria. I visited town Kazanlak, where lives and works Petko Baikov. He is reckon as one of the Greatest Copper Crafts Master in the world. I spent a few hours with him. What he does is beyond description. All of his products are Masterpieces.

The Rakher Upovas festival, celebrated in Bangladesh, is a significant Hindu religious event. Devotees gather in temples and homes to observe a day of fasting and prayer, honourin Baba Loknath, a revered saint. The festival is marked by the lighting of oil lamps and incense.

The Eagle Hunters of western Mongolia practice an age old tradition, working in unison with their horses and golden eagles to hunt for foxes and hare in the cold vast landscapes of the country. This photo is an attempt to document the interplay of human and animal from a new perspective.

The big elephant heards of Kenya's Amboseli National Park commute daily between their feeding grounds in the park and their night quarters on the slopes on Mt Kilimanjaro. The dust during their trek during sunset gives rise to these magical light effects.

When I saw the Yuanyang Terraces in Yunnan, I was filled with the feeling of paper cuttings and printmaking. Since I am a printmaking and paper-cutting enthusiast, I embodied the mood of printmaking with high key photography.
