As the tumultuous storm clouds begin to disperse, the sky is painted in a breathtaking palette of colours, heralding the arrival of a serene and majestic sunset. In the wake of the tempest, the air is charged with a sense of anticipation, mingled with the lingering echoes of thunder and the soft patter of raindrops. Against this dramatic backdrop, the castle stands as a steadfast sentinel, weathering the storm with unwavering resilience. In the fading light of day, shadows dance upon its ancient walls, casting a spellbinding tableau of light and shadow. Yet amid the chaos and uncertainty, there is a palpable sense of hope—a beacon of light that illuminates the path to a brighter tomorrow. One of two islets off the coast of Perast in the Bay of Kotor, Montenegro. It's an artificial island created by rocks and by sinking old ships filled with rocks. This started in the 15th century; the church was renovated in 1722. In the photo I captured the golden early morning light on the islet.

A rock located on a beach near where I live, I call "Sail" because it seems to resemble a sail of a boat, I managed to find a particular light condition that was able to highlight this large rock in the middle of the sea.

One of the best known and most photographed places in the Dolomites. At sunset a beautiful light enters the scene from the side, giving a dreamy atmosphere.

I'll take you to a corner of paradise, an unknown place, a path that borders the river from the woods. You start to hear the sound of the water, louder and louder. Suddenly a gorge opens up in the mountain and you are caressed by the steam that the water produces as it falls into the small lake.

Knowing the place already, I searched the edge of the lake with the flashlight, to see if there were any pretty flowers in good condition. When the light began to lighten the scene, the thick fog began to thin out and reveal the beautiful Tre Cime di Lavaredo.

A graveyard of burned Joshua Tree's lie in the snow in the Mojave Desert.
The wildfire that occurred here in 2020 wiped out two-thirds of all Joshua Trees in the park. (~1.3 million of them). Some of the devastation can be seen here, but this photo is only a tiny fraction of that.
